Wound Closure
LaproClose™ is a single-use trocar site closure system for fascial closure of laparoscopic port sites. Closure of port sites of 10mm and above is commonly recommended to reduce the risk of port-site hernia. The cone-shaped guide holds the introducer at a fixed angle through the abdominal wall, so suture passage can be seen laparoscopically as the needle enters the peritoneal cavity, while helping to maintain pneumoperitoneum. Available with or without the guide, for 10/12mm and 15mm port sizes.
